You will have to organize your transport from the airport to Sabadell and back to the airport by your own means, trusting in any of the many taxi companies that offer transportation services around Barcelona.

Official cabs in Barcelona are legally authorized to charge the amount that appears in their devices. The length of the transfer from Barcelona to the Hotel is around 45 minutes.

OTHER TRANSPORT OPTIONS

Also you have available combinations of public transport which is cheaper than the taxi service, but which takes a longer time.

AEROBUS + TREN: It is possible to arrive at the sports facilities with the following directions:

1)  Aerobus (Airport – Barcelona, Plaça Catalunya)

2)  Then there are two options:

Train FGC S2 (Plaça Catalunya – Sabadell)
Train RENFE R4 (Plaça Catalunya – Sabadell Nord)

1. Registration

SATELLITE WORLD CUP:

Registrations must be done through the national federations at the FIE web site:

 

 

 

 

 

 

OPEN TOURNAMENT:

All fencers must register at the Spanish Federation e-mail rfee@esgrima.es through their national federations.

 

Registration deadline is October 17th 2025.

Following Spanish Federation rules, will not be accepted registration the same day of the competition.

According to the RFEE 2024/2025 season regulation, all fencers must have their country fencing license.

 

2. Weapon control

As stated in article m.38 of FIE Material Regulations, equipment controlled will be:

• Electric jackets (FIE)
• Masque (FIE)
• Glove
• Foil (FIE)
• Body wire

Weapon control will be available at the competition venue. 

 

3. Referees

SATELLITE WORLD CUP:

According to the FIE regulation for:

• From 1 to 4 fencers : No referee required
• From 5 to 9 fencers : 1 referee
• More than 10 fencers : 2 referees

Referees must confirm their presence the day of the competition at 7:30h at the Directoire Technique. During the whole competition, they must be at disposal of the Directoire Technique.

 

OPEN TOURNAMENT:

It is not necessary referee contribution; the organization will provide all referees and all fencers has to pay a fee. The price of the registration includes this fee.
